How many people want to build robots other than 13.6 kg? Would you want to run more than one robot at one event?

As soon as I get Sidewinder rebuilt I will be building a new Lightweight. I have to get revenge at King Pinscher at the next RoboWars event for beating us 3-nil last time. It'll be a twin saw, double chasis robot, but I'll keep the saw blades static most of the time. 300W scooter motors, 300mm pneumatic wheels, maybe just Mini-EV's for the saws. Now I have the ok from Brett I'll start drawing this weekend, should be ready by christmas.

Is anyone else intending to build robots other than the 13.6 kg?

We may not have to worry too much about the extra time needed in the immediate future. I would like to build another but with Marauder not being right and Yamato taking a lot of time, I am not going to start soon.

It would be helpful if we can set the dates for next year and not move them as much as possible.

There have been many great bots built for that sort of money. Good luck.

i got a worn circular saw blade (still cuts good) from the guy across the street, my dads friend owns the pegout dealership in lismore so i get me free parts from there and one of the guys in my team, his dad works at fire department so we got a fire extingisher for an air cilinder. and this other guy in my team is getting a whipper snipper for free so we might use that too. we havent even started building it yet.
