The 8th is a Friday. Wouldn't the 9th or 10th be better? _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
Well we could just have a builders meet maybe. If nic was interested in another it would have to be the 10th as he works saturdays but if it was just a builders meet 9th or 10th would be fine here. _________________ Steven Martin

Hi Pie in the face ? It looks like you are in NSW .Is that corect? If so it might be better to ask in the NSW thread .Your nearest arena would be in sydney .Also i think the next Big Robowars event is going to be in January 2006 .I dnot know if a date has been confirmed as yet .That is a Big open to the public event held at Side tracked in Melbourne .Our next queensland event looks to be on the 16th of october At goombungi ( near Toowomba)Qld

Well Ballina is a lot closer to Brisbane then it is to Sydney. It even looks like the same distance from Ballina to Toowoomba as it is from Kilkivan to Toowoomba.
2006? Hmmmmm.
We had one on the 22 of Jan this year, but the RoboWars event in Victoria maybe on that time next year, so I guess we are hanging out for the exact date of that event before we plan out first event.
Yeah we want to go to brisbane and see if were any good before wasting a 10 hour trip to sydny just to find out we suck. I would also like to find out the specs for the brisbane event then if all goes well work of that for sydney

You could look at thermo fan motors at the wreckers. I haven't built a spinner so I am only repeating what others have said.
Have you decided on motors for drive? Many of us use cordless drills. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
