Thought I would post up a staus report on the DVD.
Unfortunatley the recent storms in Melbourne crashed my system and I lost everything.
Just kidding. Should have it done over the coming weekend. The main dilema has been managing the file sizes as my hard disk is chocking. Started off with a plan but has changed a few times.
Originally was going to be just the finals with highlights on one disk. then was considereing making it a double DVD in a Case but that would bring the price up so have now made the decision to keep it all on one disk and compress files to fit.
Every time I have changed the content I have to update the navigation system to match so have been going back and forwards a bit.
Updated my DVD burner last week and have to buy a bigger hard disk this week to finish it.
A couple of the fights just where not recorded but and some fights have gaps as the cameraman must have thought it was too boring to record I suppose.
I think most people will be happy with it.
Will be also making a cover for it this week and slight chance depending might be able to print on the disk will confirm that later this week.
Anyway will update this post closer to the end of the week and work out a way to get this distributed to whoever wants a copy for next week.
Havent worked out the price yet but it wont be anything major. Depending on what pans out this week.
Here is a list of its contents.
2 min opening introducing all the robots.
All the fights up until the finals using the main camera.
All finals fights using a mix of main camera and roof camera
2 of the lightweights fights reduced down by 50% using main camera and Kheeroo Cam.
and finally about 30 seconds of Lil Brute doing its thing.
Have other little piecs of pits and stuff but its getting tight so will have to see about that, prefer not to compress too much.
Overall its over 2 hours of video.
Feel free to start sending me your details to prepare a mailing list for next week. Looks like I am going to know where you live, Mwa ha ha, Mwwha ha ha _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

Well it works on mine as well as my Mac and DVD player but that doesnt really mean anything but shouldnt have many issues I hope.
Using generic formats so hopeing it will work on most systems but theres always going to be something it wont work on. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

I'd love one. Would it work on a normal DVD player? _________________ ( •_•)

Prong would have been able to answer your question re: postage.
But he's in New Zealand.
I believe sending in the case was a little more cost prohibitive, so we decided to hand out cases at the Annihilator last year. Then sent the DVD in a cd pouch i think.

Would like to send in case if poss as will have a printed cover for it.
Would people rather just buy an empty case themselves and just slide in the cover and pop in the disc or just get the whole thing complete.
Will leave that up to the response I get and decide end of week. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

put me down for one, $7 is normal posting cost interstate, but just packing the disk in bubble wrap and one of the disk packages from the post office would cost shat all..
sending it without a cover would be much more cost-effective. And I could just buy a cover, then slide in the sheet. I'll PM you my address. Any rough estimate of price? _________________ ( •_•)

About 15 dollars depending on printing on the disk.
For another 25 dollars you can actually win the fight you thought you lost. ANother 20 gets your oponent catching on fire and 10 bucks more gets your oponent screaming like a girl.
Hurray offer limited so be quick _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.
