A golf buggy moter(or somthing) same as the one's off lawn mower with a sproket atached
2 starter moters the same
looks like my 2 wiper moters have a home...
also those 2 540's may have a home

@ Glenn. Have new Hitec servo if you like to trade.
Pinion gears yeah interested. not sure if they are the ones I need but searching for a few diff styles so bring them along
In regard to the 18 volt digitor setup is that the bigger size or just the same as a 550 overvolted. Trying to match it with a 18 volt setup I have. motor is the size of a mini ev in mine so would like to match it up unless someone has some other pair of motors suitable for a drive system at 36 volts. with or without gear boxes.
@Aaron., what are the specs on the winch motors you use. how would they perform at 36 volts, sounds like you are bringing some down for andrew, do you have any more? _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

this digitor is just a 550 with the motor wound to run at 18v nominal instead of 12v...
but if your looking for mini ev size motors take a trip to jaycar. they have ones that range from 12-18v (obviously capable of more). ive got on in the little baby bot and power and performance are most impressive.
as for that hitec that would fit the bill, are you after any other parts?

Yeah have seen the Jaycar motors, worth considering but ideally trying to match my existing gearbox. Have one already that suits that size and would love to find another, if I cant find another gearbox to suit a mini ev size then theres the option of looking for pinion gears for a mini ev and coming up with another geardown solution. if they exist. The way its looking might have to go back to the idea of doubling up the standard 550 size motor setups giving me the extra power i need with a redundant drive. By the way i like using the word redundant even though its not necessary _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

Is any one interested in going in with me on a titanium sheet order? I am seriously thinking about some 1 to 1.5 mm thick armour and its easier to order in quantity. I plan to cut it myself so I could rough cut other people's pieces too.
If anyone is interested, I will be ordering next week, so be quick _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Yeah Nick I mite be interested. Need indication of price and in regard to cutting, how are you cutting it. Dont know my sizes yet so if I cant work out some sizes and i have to cut it myself later just need to know what is needed to do the job. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

I had some price estimates on the old site There is a place in Melbourne that sels titanium and it seems cheaper than Titanium Joe once you add in the frieght - have a look a Ti Joe's site and count on it being less. I recall that my feather weight cost about $60 to armour all 4 sides
The local place only cuts-to-size in full sheet widths (1.2m) ie. a 10cm order really gets you a 10cm x 1.2m strip. I figure that sharing and order will reduce the wastage.
I was planning to cut it with a heavy-duty jigsaw. You also have to think about drilling it - only the best drill bits last the distance. If I get enough interest we might look a waterjet cutting. Its not cheap, but you get a perfectly finished part you can bolt straight on. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
