Unlike last time, sparks is all you will get - no more gouging great chunks of aluminium with your saw Razz

BTW: I have 2 more XU1 packs for you

For Chris I suppose I could have a go at copying Robot Arena 2 for you. I just got the proper CD version off Ebay (did I mention I like that site?) after that downloadable one went all screwy and wouldn't accept our codes again (about 6 months ago). I have to figure out how to get those Battle Bot replicas back on too. And the Robot Wars ones as well.
And you'll want me to burn another DVD of MM3 after Philip brought your copy (your too slow). Actually that was my copy.

I have for sale:

2 x RS-540 motors, both have pinions, one has a slightly melted fan
4 x XU1 battery chargers, someone might have a use for them, I don't.
2 x 3v cordless screwdrivers with wheels attached, ready for 1-2kg bots.
1 x 256MB 300DDR KingMax RAM, just been replaced with 513MB
2 x Makita Cordless drills, both 7.2v with steel gears and one is a two speed.
2 x Soda Stream Canisters, empty, ready to be used, safe to 250bar(3600PSI)

Probably got some other crap floating around here to. IF your interested in something, drop me a line.

they arn't like the ryobi's unfortunately, they have the gearboxes built into the case instead of likethe XU1 assembled gearboxes. The gears and motors might be useful though

@George: I'll bring them, I'll just have to give them a clean up.
Marshal is the man to talk to about Winch Motors. We are jsut the messenger. The only problem with the winch motors is that you have to make your own shafts for them on a lathe. They are about 3kg each with the standard case steel gearbox with a ratio of 153:1. We modded ours to get a ratio of 9:1 with our modified shafts.

@Chris: You missed out on the blower fan motor yonks ago Chris, It went into Haemorrhage before Robowars 2003. I think I have another smaller one like that around here some where.

Do u have any suggestions for other types of motors suitable for a beefy drive system, Have a heater fan motor. looks like a scooter motor but only 190watts at 12. Any advise on a motor off a car that could be worth using. Windscreen motors are about 55% efficient I believe so trying to find something better
