Once again it was a great day in Goom. There is a relaxed atmosphere about that place. Nic had the arena set up with black plastic to keep the sun off the screens and a fluro inside to make the viewing better.

The people make the robot events great. Everyone was willing to lend a hand and to share advice.

Nic and Mrs Carnage put on lunch and drinks again.

Spriong (which I think should be called Twang) piqued my interest. The keep away spikes made it very hard for the other robots to attack the main body. This will be a robot to watch.

I think I may have left my scales where I was filling my bottle.

My only regret of the day was not finnding the time to rib Andrew K about his choice of gearbox.

Good video Marto. A bit short though. Wink How did you get the slow motion bit? Also the arena was too dark for video's. I noticed ours came out the same. Also your fotage is a lot better then ours. I don't think we need to post a video up.
We also didn't realise what happened to Hellbringer when it was fighting RP7. We couldn't see it when it got stuck so I thought it got its wedge under the arena wall. I didn't see that it was trying to climb the door.

And Nic, that wouldn't be our extention cable. We only had one yellow cable and it came home with us.

Marto, can you lift a picture from the video? I would like a copy of Marauder flying through the air towards the camera in the melee.

It is supposed to be the 5/6/05. We could always go a park meet in the interim.

Sorry. Did the combination (of black plastic/arena light) stuff the recordings?
What can I change to fix it?
I was trying to make it easier for us to see, but I didn't know it would stuff everything else up.

It made it a lot better to see but i think we need more lights in there for the cameras.
