Neweyn's Physics formulae

After blowing 4 motors in 2 matches both within about 20 seconds I arrived at the following formulae

2 * XU1 + 13.6 Kg + 24V SLA = Toasted marshmallows

Has anyone else had this experience, It seams that 4WD robots survive the above setup.

The result can also be Grilled Sausages, burnt cheese, or Tomato Soup.

I didn't think anyone was running there drill motors at 24V. I think The Acid Test (lightweight) does, from memory they get hot real quick(and that's just driving around, not stalling them)

Try this formula:

2 * XU1 + 13.6 Kg + 12V SLA = the smoke staying in

Hellbringer has 2 x 9.6V drills and 2 x 12V drills running at 24V with 150mm and was running fine for the first 3 sessions, including shooting 3 feet into the air in the melee on the first day. But we seem to have lost the brushes in 3 of the motors and melted the plastic face plate on the forth when it fought SS Rat. It seemed to be instantanious (whoa, spelling) too.

That formula is wrong Tim Razz It was actually 2 * 9.6v kk2's + cobra + 14.4v NiMH = 1min of rumble before smoke.

Oh yeah, I came up with another formula:

Broken Aerial + Plan B + Plastic Wheels = $20 out-of-pocket and Victory Challenged Bracket
