I have a CD of RA2 ($15 off Ebay) but there is never anyone on to play with. Is there something about online games I don't know about?

RA2 is best played online with Broadband. Brett and I tried battling and my 56k lagged the game big time.

If anyone is up for a RA2 LAN day, I would gladly head to Brisbane for a comp!

hehe TA! i have not played that in years! It became the 'forbidden game' at our lans because people would get the shits because one guy would kill everyone in about 5 minutes with peewee's, except for me because i would get a gatgun up in time, then the game would go for hours

Also we found the game would end up being a race for nukes, or a Krogoth. Hehehe then we found updated units for the game and a guy called a Karanageth, hehe he makes the Krogoth look so small, he could take on hundreds of Krogoths and survive, how do we know you ask? we tried with the crazy new resource buildings and these nano towers you can churn out krogoths as fast as they can walk out of the gantry

ahhh well thats enough reminiscing, Valeen, we have to set up a game some time

im up for it i would love some of those updated units lol and yeah every 1 overlooks the peewee's lol thats why you get your kbot lab to pump them out while you get up rocket turrents and laser turrents (i dont have any expansion packs or updated units so this is just a strat you use with out all the extras) oh and you build hundreds of gunships their the bomb brilliant for takeing out kbots and tanks and things aswell as the comander

does anyone here own a copy of RA2 and have a braodband connection with a static IP address? just hoping that someone could setup a RA2 server that we could all fight on. Prehaps at a designated time each day or week or whatever?

I'd do it myself however I would have to tell you all my IP each day. etc.

Just a thought.

I have broadband and a static IP, and once my uni exams are over (a week and a half) I plan to set up a server to host all my robot wars video's, so I can also host a RA2 server. I do not have the game but I am sure I can egt a copy from someone or download it etc
