MAKER'S BRAWL AT THE 2017 ADELAIDE MAKER FAIRE

An event to inspire, inform, connect and entertain thousands of attendees in a family-friendly environment that celebrates technology, education, science, arts, crafts, engineering, food, sustainability – and more.
Maker Faire Adelaide will bring people and ideas together at Tonsley – South Australia’s latest hub for innovation, education and entrepreneurship.
This event will be Adelaide Robot Combat's biggest yet with a very large crowd expected. We will be fighting with Antweight (150g) and Beetleweight (1.36kg) robots!


When: Sunday, November 5th, 2017. 10am to 4pm. (Bump in time TBA)

Where: Tonsley Precinct. 1284 South Rd, Clovelly Park SA 5042

Registration cost: TBA. Registration will be paid on the day.
Team members will be issued exhibitor passes before the event for free admission to the Faire.

The following classes will be competing in round robin tournaments, each followed by a single elimination tournament for finals:
- Open Antweights (150g) - 20 Spaces available
- Restricted Antweights (150g) Non-Destructive robots only - 10 Spaces available
- 2v2 Team Antweights (150g) - 10 Team spaces available
- Open Beetleweights (1.36kg) - 20 Spaces available
- Restricted Beetleweights (1.36kg) Non-Destructive robots only - 10 Spaces available

Make sure you register as soon as possible before all slots are taken, even if you're still designing your robot!
Registration Opens: 15/05/2017
Registration Closes: 07/10/2017

To register, please provide the following:
- Your team name.
- Team member's name(s). Maximum two team members will be allowed in the pits. Please contact us if you require more members.
- Your robots name(s).
- Your robot's primary and secondary (if it has one) weapons.
- Tournament(s) you wish to register for. If registering for teams with another team's robot, mention names of both robots when registering.
- Email address.
***Every team and registered robot will be placed on a public list for anyone to view.***

Please have a look at our modified SPARC V1.1 ruleset. It outlines a few minor changes for our events, along with custom transmitter details.

Spectators: General Maker Faire admission only. Last year’s admission was $5.

Bump in details: TBA

On the day details: Make sure that any 240V equipment that you will bring with you gets tested and tagged. This is a requirement of Maker Faire Adelaide.
