I don't know how much room is available so its hard to recommend anything. Two brands that other people have had issues with are Dlux and YEP - best to steer clear of them at HK.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will try to figure out the dimensions myself as the red brick ESC actually fits kinda tightly into the compartment.

To Steve:

Yeah usually I don't want to do that. But this time I'm pretty sure that nothing's been shorted or reversed cuz I tested basically the same setup before.

A few new findings:

The broken part on the Rx actually shorted out, which means that the red and black lines on the Rx are shorted together.

Also, the red and black lines on the broken ESC are also shorted somehow.

EDIT: I just realized that a multimeter would help a lot when I woke up this morning, I should have done it way earlier.

I also just found the 200A, 7s red brick, which is just 4 dollars more than my 125A. Had I realized this earlier I shouldn't be dealing with all those ripple current problems lol, but at least I finally found it. However only the global warehouse has stock... I guess I will be only running 1 weapon motor to conserve the ESCs I have.

Update:

While waiting for the parts to arrive, I did a few things in the background.

First the drive motors are now installed onto the gearbox.

Second I cut a window in the top cover as an access port for the safety link.

Update:

I was trying to install the circlips on my wheels but I then found out that my circlip plier was too big for the little holes on the circlip so I couldn't install it. I tried filing the plier but it was too hard to file down even a bit. What should I do now?

You will need to buy a smaller pair of pliers.

Yeah you're right, that seems to be the only way now.

Update:

Just did another weapon test now that the receivers have arrived, and the test was successful!

Video coming shortly.

For now most of the problems with this bot have been sorted out. (Except for the fact that I can't fit both the drive and the weapon ESCs in, which I will try to solve.)

Big thanks to those who have helped me along the way. You guys are awesome!

Good to hear things are progressing - does that mean you are definitely coming to the event?

Yep I'm coming for sure.

EDIT: Even as a wedge that's not invertible.

Bring all the spare parts you can - its surprising how much can be made to work with everyone working on it.
