Just curious on things.

I was going to try and make a weopon for warning and leave it be but saw that aaron is throwing in his wedge and nick has his spinner im guessing for demo matches/between rounds bash ups

If this is the case ill throw warnings wedge back on, see if it still works (should) and thats done for that and get started on one of the other two designs im thinking.

Does warning going in bash up between rounds against whatever count as one of my two entrances if i magically do get two robots going?

Also Daniel Kerrison, how did then hobbyking wheels go for you in testing, are they strong enough? Am looking into the idea of drilling/tapping a bolt that goes onto the drill shaft and the hex of the bolt sits in the hex fitting on the wheel.

Thanks for any help guys

The hex recess on the wheels got chewed out very quickly and the tyres came off easily under a side load.

I will be sending out email to all builders soon however.

How it will work is there will be demo matches, not in the sportsman competition, and then the normal round robin / elimination tournament.

Warning would be able to compete in demo matches.

The program and event schedule is still a bit of a work in progress. Just keep all of Sat 30th free and 31st till Friday.

What I am thinking at the moment is that you will randomly get 4 fights in the round robin. These will be predrawn and posted a day before the event. I will then schedule the fights as I see fit in no particular order. There will be no "rounds" as such on the day it will just be when you have your 4 fights. This will likely be in the first half(day) of the event.Hopefully this means we can keep things running as constantly as possible.

Once that is done the top 8 robots still able to compete will progress to the finals. Other robots will be used for demos while these robots compete.

This will mean any non-sportsman robots will be placed against the other robot which will be able to generate the best show while still keeping the robots intact. Likely this will be spinner vs wedge line up as that is always good to watch and doesn't do too much damage to the bots. It would be great if drivers could tone things down a little and put on as much of a show as they can while keeping bots intact. But we will see what happens lol.

Any functioning sportsmans not in the main competition will be able to compete in the demo matches or in melees or other filler events.
