Robots names have been added to tbe Event thread.

Robot cards will be printed at the end of next month so if you want your robot added I need the following details:
- Driver name
- Short Bio - Where are you from, What do you do, How long have you been involved, Why do you build robots, etc.
- Robot Picture
- Robot Description
- Robot Tactics
- Robot History
These should be submitted as post to discussion thread and will be copied here.

This will also help inform the MC so a photo of yourself would also be helpful. This may also be printed so make it a good one.

Mr Mangle

Driver: Nick Martin

Bio: I am an IT engineer from Sydney. I have been building robots since 2004 and taking them to international competitions in the US and England.

Description : Mr Mangle is a vertical spinner with egg-beater style weapon that can either break it’s opponents or flip them over. It has thick titanium armour and the plastic hoops help it land on its wheels if it is flipped over.

Tactics: charge in and do maximum damage

History : Mr Mangle has been to the last two Australian and UK championships and is currently the highest rated spinner robot in the UK.

Shiny

Driver: Nick Martin

Bio: I am an IT engineer from Sydney. I have been building robots since 2004 and taking them to international competitions in the US and England.

Description Shiny is a vertical spinner with egg-beater style weapon that can either break it’s opponents or flip them over. The weapon has a peak power of 4000 watts. It has thick titanium armour and two sets of wheels so that it can drive upside down.

Tactics: Slice ‘n dice, then throw the remains around the arena.

History: Shiny is a new robot that has competed at the 2015 UK championships, winning most of its matches.

Featherweight Entry

Hi All,

I was just on buildersdb and registered a new version of my highly successful robot Naught Razz from 2013 nats.

It is not 100% at this point in time, I am currently in Canada so September when I am home is when I can get tools back onto it.
At the moment it is an underweight, unarmoured pusher (spinner-fodder).
Looking forward to getting back into it.

Haha Thanks Andrew, You're a champion.
The only thing I have missed while travelling is being in the workshop.
I don't suppose you would have any spare Ti laying around Razz

Really looking forward to it.

This is going to be simplified but an example of the cards the kids will have on the day if you actually get your details up in the next few weeks.

We have few more entries trickling in. A reminder to those who haven't paid. Get to it soon. I am looking to cull back down to 16......

Things are ticking along on the admin side. Looking forward to the event.

@ Steve: I haven't received a payment email yet.

The photo was easy: just two sheets of cardboard from the newsagent and light bounced off a white wall.

Well the email on the site is a hotmail one not gmail. So maybe check spam there as well.

It will be used for correspondence in lead up to event. So it really needs to be updated. If you miss anything and don't pass safety don't come bitching too me afterwards.
