So guys rego opens on 1st of July. Limited spaces so if you intend to come would recommend you get your profile updated on buildersDB.

How Australian do you have to be to compete in the event?

I ask because I might be visiting at the time and could bring a 30lb robot (assuming I finish constructing it)

Not very but expect that to change by the time you leave. Wink

Where are you coming from? If you get it done we would love to have you.

Hah, I would be coming from California. I might have to delay until I have more funds... this is my 2nd robot (the first one was 3 lbs) and I am spending a lot more than I thought I would.

I will throw a link to my blog up here once I get it going.

Ill be entering one feather and one sportsman. Ill be paying entry fee for both but me and marc will be working on both and competing with both as a team.

I noticed a thing saying anybody extra in the pits needs to pay as well or something.

Plase clarify, i wish to pay for both, dont care about shirts or doo dads /misc but if its included then sure why not.

Will sort out payment when i wake up later on.

Main feathers mine, sportsman me and him will build but Marc will be driver and if he can not attend (due to his enthusiasm hes keen as hell) then ill drive.

p.s just registered uding the thing

Happy days, now gotta deal with relatives from america then when they leave end of the month can start building stuff.

Entry includes shirt and two pit passes.

Does anybody know a platform to do local wifi streaming? I figure everyone has a phone why not just use a local wifi network to do the streaming.
