In case I havnt mentioned it yet we will be kicking things off 11 am Sunday at the Strathpine Gardens Community Hall which is at the corner of Nicole Way and Turner Drive Brendale (behind the old convenience store which is now a builder). Apart from the birthday we have a few potential new builders coming so it should be good.

Hope it was a good day wish I could have been there instead of sitting in an office writing. Let me know how the kits went.

Thanks to Daniel, Philip, Miles and Jules for coming. It was an interesting day. The kids loved the robots as well as a couple of parents. It was strange that we had more robots competing yesterday than at the nationals.

I think that is a sign that people prefer to focus on the bigger at the Nationals and run a separate day for the Ants.

The main difference between the 2013 and 2014 nationals was we were missing people like Philip, Aaron, Welch, Yourself, ect.... Basically every builder that couldn't make it in 2014 was a builder that brought ants in 2013. 7 teams of ants couldn't make it, which is different then saying they arn't being built anymore.
