Yes
Huntsman's design wasn't good. It's total weight was 80kg and most of it was in the front armour, axe frame and motors at the front. There wasn't enough weight over the wheels to push the front around. Huntsman 2 will be 4wd to fix this. I think. There's 5 Huntsman 2's on my computer at the moment I just can't stop drawing.
I'm not sure of peak current. I was running the 24V motors for drive and was using IFI Victor 883's and they didn't get warm. I was persuming they were simalar to Bosch 750's, but with really crap magnets and brush housings
And one test that I performed, that no one ever saw, was that I put padding on the axe head to turn it into a seat, rested my feet in front of the top covers and drove it like a wheel chair. The damn thing took off so fast it was doing wheelies and spun on the spot beautifully. Was the only way to get it to drive like I imagined it would. I did this while alone because sitting on a 1m long, 12kg axe probably wasn't the smartest thing any robot builder has ever done, but it was really, really fun.
I will rebuild it one day, no matter what else happens.
