I was thinking two bots as well - it could be a record attendance this year Smile.

How many NSW bots might go to the Nats? From memory, we have the following:

Glen - Demon & flipper
Nick Mr Mangle & Scissorhands
Ben - Catastrophe
Jake - NC
Andrew - The Game

That makes seven bots that are ready or nearly ready to go. I am sure I have forgotten a few bots - what did I miss?

Streaming - Can we find out if they are able to get access to their ADSL connection and broadcast a twitchtv stream. Stress that it's global exposure for the gallery and there seems to be a lot of people keen on watching streams (the Miami STEM Tech event has 1100+ viewers this morning).

The facilities were perfect last year - keep the pit tables where they were. Is there any way to introduce the UK whiteboard matches? They would be a fun filler for day two when some bots are out of the main competition. I don't know if we will have enough bots to run something like their Annihilator competition, but it was definitely a crowd pleaser.

I believe round robin nullifies the need for whiteboard matches, it only comes into play when we go into the top 8 single elimination tree for the finals. If we run a double elimination competition, I could definitely see the whiteboard matches being needed.

Absolutely, the whiteboards will only make sense right at the end of the main competition to keep the crowd interested during the breaks. Even then, we have the ants running so we can have the whiteboards as a standby.
