3d filament recycler...lets make one
Couldn't be to hard to make one of these ...what would be involved ...i wonder ...could you use a hot glue gun (extruder) on a light dimmer /voltmeter/themometer( to get temp correct) with an aluminum syringe powered by a drill/winch motor for the drive and the the cork srew out of a meat mincer?
....I knew there was a reason I have been keeping all the scrap bits of filament. I think I would print more If I knew I could re-melt my mistakes.

How about using an old blender to break up the plastic into chips for extruding?

yeah I'm always printing stuff then realising I'm slightly off on only one piece….so that whole print is a right off…but could be remelted…..when you start keeping the mistakes you realise how much material gets wasted. _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts
