Press the menu/scroll wheel and access the MIX1 menu
Select the first mix channel and change it to ELEV, then select the second mix channel and change it to AILE. This mixing setting will be applying a percentage of mix from the ELEV channel to the AILE channel when you move the stick (IE: if you move the ELEV channel +25%, the mixing will apply +25% to the AILE channel). Set both L and R to -100%* then exit the MIX1 menu. Plug your left motor controllers into the ELEV channel on the receiver
Press the menu/scroll wheel and access the MIX2 menu
Select the first mix channel and change it to AILE, then select the second mix channel and change it to ELEV. This mixing setting will be applying a percentage of mix from the AILE channel to the ELEV channel when you move the stick (IE: if you move the AILE channel +25%, the mixing will apply +25% to the ELEV channel). Set both U and D to +100%* then exit the MIX2 menu. Plug your right motor controllers into the AILE channel on the receiver
You should now have functional mixing.
* - If your mixing is all backwards, you can do 1 of 3 things.
1 - Reverse the motor wires on the ESCs
2 - Reverse the channels in the radia
3 - Change the L and R from -100% to +100% and U and D to from +100% to -100% _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Nice one Aaron….that seems way better than dealing with the dodgy t6config software. _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts

Not sure if the latest model has changed, but i had to use different settings. Using the ones as shown gives foward as foward, left as backwards and back and right are turning.
Here's what i used, this gives the correct trim direction too.
You should always bind your transmitter and receiver in the default failsafe positions. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Indeed! BUT on the orangerx, if you leave the bind plug in, then turn the transmitter on it will go into a mode that outputs the same signal as it was when on which is probably what most would do by default.

They seemed to be speaking of the modules, not sure if that goes with the actual radios themselves, Have we had more than 5 of them running at once in the rumbles? _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

So, being the poor lad i am currently, am desperately trying to make the t-six work so i don't have to buy a legit spektrum. Some questions to anyone using them. Aside from Aaron lol.
What model reciever do you have? How long does it take for the reciever to connect (orange light comes on) after turning the robot on? Have you ever had an instance where the reciever won't connect unless you turn the power on and off a bunch of times?
Suspecting my TX is a dud as the behaviour of two different model recievers is the same, The internals of it look fine and it binds immediately to the rx and for a few minutes afterward, then it decides to play up.
I think it might be the receiver. I have similar issues with sydney opera house bot.
I will check the RX when I get home but I am using a legit 4Ch spektrum and it does the same sort of thing. It would take about a minute or two to bind in some cases. And did occasionally need turning off and on. _________________ Steven Martin

Hmm, well I can replicate it between the 620 rx and 615 now although they look fairly identical internally. Aaron's rx610 seems to work though, unfortunately those aren't available anymore.
Might see if we can mix and match radios to determine whether it's the rx model or new txs that are the problem. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts
