McIntyre System Finals
Maybe I've been watching too much football recently, but I quite like the way they run the finals. I think it would be better if we use the same system with our finals after we finsh the round robin. The top ranked robots would get more chance of winning then the lower ranked robots.

I have almost finished a new, better looking spread sheet with a single elimination and AFL style finals. So I don't need the old one anymore. Just wanted to check if people like giving advantages to higher ranked robots from the round robin

Current AFL, but ignoring the home ground advantage business. I'll post a picture once I get rid of a bug.

Sounds good. Home ground is meaningless for us anyway.
I have sadly become rather skilled at VBA macro programming and excel formula. Let me know if you need someone to hunt down a bug or sanity check. (I doubt you will given the previous ones) _________________ Remember to trust me, I am an Engineer.

No worries, I've finished a 12 robot spread sheet. Now to make other sized competitions.
The first page. Just enter in the robots name. Wins/Loss and ranking is done automatically.
The round robin draw. Each fight has a drop down box for selecting win or loss
The single elimination final with robots pulled in via thier ranking
