stick a scope across the motor, I have a sneaking suspicion they could be low inductance/ high voltage spike models. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets
There is something about putting 20A into a battery which just seems excessive.
I have two pairs of these for charging @ robogames.
I have also written a bit of new code for the ESCs so shall see how that goes. Does anyone know if the integrated GCC compiler in the new AVR Studio 6 automatically puts CLI/SEI in the interrupts? I am 90% sure AVR-LIB did but this could cause heaps of issues for the controller if its switching multiple fets on different bridges. One switch at the wrong time and you leave a single bridge carrying all the current for 2ms and that could be bad.
47.2KG at the moment, with a few panels to add and a few things to be lightened up to make weight. If the uprights are exchanged for aluminium, we can get the weight down to 42.0KG _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

looks very cool guys....those cavities might catch spinners though?
Chassis is to be made from 8/6/4mm Bisalloy or Hardox 500.
The ventilation holes might be easier for spinners to catch, but 6mm steel isn't going to survive Last Rites anyway, so it's a mute point. We are just going to pray we can feed the 8mm thick wedge into his weapon instead if we end up meeting him. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

*moot* point.
Looks like a neat design for a very lightweight wedge ant frame too. _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam

god do you know how hard it was not to correct that, thank you! ;-> _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets
well actually its not a correction of grammar, its a correction of semantics.
