That's a nice offer Daniel, I just don't think we have any parts that would fit into it Smile However, if you still up for giving it away, I'd like build it up as a display model that we could take to the public events. Something that is assembled to look like working robot but has no internals.

Could be a great arena hazard for featherweight events, something for the spinners to avoid hitting. Cool

Threading some M16 shaftage.

Nut fits on swimmingly good.

Wheel bolted onto to motor.

Showing the bearing block mated to the winch face.

Showing the bearings in the bearing block, just need to machine up a 65mm OD x 10mm thickbearing retainer plate for the front of it now.

Did a bit of weight reduction on the bearing block and put the first two mounting holes/bolts into it.

Just needs the two top mounting bolts and the bearing retainer machined + fitted and this one is done.

With the whole thing assembled again.

With some luck, tomorrow *might* see a test bed driving around.... Very Happy

Should be driving tomorrow Cool

Drives, electronics box and a mock up flamethower.

We could even go with a winch power lifter.

I think I'm going to look at redesigning the electronics box to maximise internal space. It should allow us more space different weapons.

Test bed ready for action!

And that's all the test drive video you get, because my camera person decided to film the ground for the remaining 4 mins of testing Evil or Very Mad Which is a shame because it was doing mad wheelies and ~20km/h charges around the drive way. Even did an awesome spin that broke the zipties holding the batteries and launched them into the garden Razz

Ended up blowing a speed controller during a pushing contest with my MR2, so just need to investigate if the ESC's just cannot handle the motors or if there was something else at play.

Yeh split up the brushes and run 2x TZ85as on each of them.

Should be possible. Pull 2 out of stock.

Will tell us if its the software.
