QLD flood

How did everyone go? I see Aaron and Miles have both posted so I assume you are alright.

We didn't suffer too much. We lost power Sunday morning and don't really know what has happened to everyone else. Just got power back now. Only lost everything in the fridge and maybe freezer. A few trees are down but no big deal.

350+mm of rain over the weekend, few of the back roads flooded and we've been cut off from other major towns, but I'm pretty safe where I live.

Glad to hear. I have been worrying. Has Don been online since the flood came through? Was there much wind in Sydney?

All good here. Had a tree down on Mains Rd which took out the power for 10 hours. Now there's just downed trees and broken umberallas everywhere. A lot of dumb arse Sunnybank locals thought it was a good idea to walk to the shops during middle of the storm and a lot of good umberallas died from their efforts.

Yeah Sydney was windy-tacular. Our place was ok, just the usual fallen branches and tonnes of bark everywhere. Some of my work colleagues had their gutters torn off and leaking ceilings etc but in all nothing major

Good to hear everyone has survived.
No one trapped in their properties? Know a few who have.
