NSW onslaught onto Brisbane Nationals

Hello,

Thought it would be beneficial to start a thread in regards to the nationals event

Im still fairly keen to go. Hopeing to have warning finished with brushless drivetrain come end of august and start a second feather with some misc parts

Mainly starting this thread if locals r making the trek to co-ordinate travel and accomadation

I am planning to look online come this weekend at accomadation and if other locals are keen splitting sleeping arrangements via 3 plus people usually works out better

Also still tossing up driving with stops at pretty locations for site seeing or fly up and rent a vehicle

anywho, discuss definitely taking ants and a feather, will prob throw current beetle in but unsure if ill have time or motivation to do as complex design so worst case beetle wedge of un-testedness

Pretty keen, it's during the mid semester break so might be able to make the escape from major project... Hopefully with one bot in each class. I wouldn't mind staying with Miles and Jules if offered or maybe we can find a share place similar to melb, that was awesome. Cool

The missus is also keen to attend, will definitely be driving up in the van, so I can take a few hard-to-fly items up for other NSW travellers. Looking at getting Scissorhands back into fighting form and trying for an ant as well.

Steve might know something...

I found that clicking thru on the Google hotel links actually got me to hotels in Canada - what's with that?

I have a couple of sofa beds in Sunnybank, 30 minutes from Ipswich. But you'd need to like asian food.
