Tornado's was pneumatic, and had plenty of power. The problem is, it's much easier to drive the two robots apart than drive the spike in.

What I've always wanted to do is build one that clamps the opponent in place, THEN, drives a f'n great spike through the other robot. Not the most efficient weapon, but would be great theatre.

Incidently, rumour has it, Storm 2's flipper is based on Tornado's old spike Confused

Tim, I read somewhere that you can get a faster speed from hydraulics (while of course makes it less poweful!) by lowering the pressure of the fluid fed to the cylinder or something like that. Correct me if i'm wrong
