Its good to see variety of opinions.. *thats* what keeps it interesting, blade vs brick vs bar vs flipper vs wedge etc etc.

Of course with both of my bots presently being saw/blade bots, I have to agree with Chris..

With I.G. being the under-cutter and Scoopy being the over-head saw, I considered calling our tag-team the "Under, Over and Out ! Team" Laughing

DRUM BOTS RULE

What can I say after Mini mowers performance I really think that the Drum is an effective weapon. Slowly pounds on the other robots baseplate without inflicting to much damage just watch out for your cable ties that hold everything in place within your robot Wink

With the increased speed of Mini mower I could roll over Pincer that really serprized me!

Well after Annihilation and Basilisks damaging appearance on the weekend, I'd have to still say I'm a spinner man Cool Congrats with little Mini-Mower Rob, you two deserved the win.

Hi all
We have had in the region of 500 fights plus here in the UK, mostly with the flipper as a weapon, but we are now building a new machine which is a spinner, with attitude!!!!!!!,17kgs of spinning fury 1500 rpm, D2 tool steel teeth, 20Kjoules of stored energy, in a 500mm dia, 25mm thick disc,
as Robot combat gets ever more serious,so do the weapons,
thats what the Audiences want to see and we aim to give it to them,

Bulldog Breed

oh my. sounds cool.
WHat will become though of Bulldog Breed.
Going to still compete with it or retire it. It seems a shame to retire it as it has to be one of teh best and effective robots over there.
