Robot Serial Killers II - 28/7/2012 Sydney NSW

That's right it's happening again! Twisted Evil

REGISTER HERE:
http://www.pozible.com/index.php/archive/index/6383/description/0/0

As part of Time Machine Festival Serial Space in Sydney will play host to a wide variety of interactive electronic artists among other things, culminating in a Combat Robot competition for Ants and Beetles.

Competitor List: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkJH5wbA3LKldEQ1d2gwem1lN2daRXV2X1EyZVdrOVE

When: 28th of July. All day.

Venue: 10-14 Kensington St, Chippendale

Classes: Beetleweights and Antweights. We really want to focus on the Beetleweights as Ants do not really work well in a public event setting.

Entry Fees: $20 + $5 per additional robot. This cash will go into costs for the day and the rest will go into club funds. This will be done through a pozible campaign as per last year (was a great way or organising everything).

Cut-off date for entries: 30/6/12 will be when entries close.

Razz Get some practice in and boost that keenness for Nats! Smile

+1. Guess it's time to get a wriggle on with a beetleweight, but I'll definitely bring Scarlet (or two) down for the ants Cool

Might give the ants a miss this time and go for a 2nd Beetle. Shall see how things go!

And if anyone interstate is looking for accomodation the YHA is decent if you want to go budget and the mercure at sydney is really really nice and a short walk to the event.

Can't be worse then 6kg of batteries in a backpack.
Not sure I can make it. The date is the first week of uni and I told Connie that I would take her on my next holiday. Might have to win by proxy again.

How solid is this event?
I've booked annual leave, about to book flights in the next week or so, just checking that I'm now about to waste $250 Razz

Waiting for a final confirmation anytime now from Pia... she has taken some time to reply. Confused unless something has gone horrifically wrong since we last spoke, it'll be on Razz BUT just hold out that little bit longer! Crying or Very sad
