NSWRFC - 5th November - Antweights and Feather Shakedown!
Location: Marayong - The battleshed, Jeffs
Classes: Antweights Comp with Featherweight Testing and Preparations for Nats in Brisbane.
Time: Saterday - 5th November 2011
Let's set this one nice and early so everyone can make a good showing. We should use this day for drivability testing for Steve.
Thinking for feathers to get a good shakedown going we could do things like tag, smash random things and maybe even soccer!
Discuss.

I'm going to focus on the feather, so will make no promises in the ant department, but will definately show with something _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam

So how are we going people? Featherweights well underway i hope
Got a few things to test with demon relating to limited 12v drives at 22v and such as a backup in case i cant get any 18v ones and also need to sample the new battery and get some data off the datalogger with it to compare it to the old a123s Thats about it for me really.
Oh and Courtney, i found some old dewalt parts for you to have as well, if you wanna get em sometime before this drop me a PM _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

Both my bots should be drivable by then, not sure if Scissorhands will be spinning or if the wedge will be ready.

yeah, on track, will have new wedge finished welding for that day
basically need to finish welding of the new wedge, patch up old wedge and test test test and assemble spare drivetrain and prep spare parts _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

should be all good for this event, feather is close to good, need to do more welding on wedge, grind it all perdy and paint it and such but feather will be working but antweight will not be there
moving out next week and yeah between that and trying to organise stuff for next year in doing a course or two or something i wont have time to even look at him until a few weeks down track and then itll be a very quick patch up for the Brisbane event. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Sorry guys, I know I proposed the date but things havn't worked out for me, I can't make it for the 5th just can't spare the time/ got nothing.
Pushing it back a week moves it out of the semester but only just, up to everyone what you want to do. It helps when subjects don't lay random assignments on you 1wk before the end ...

Sure, the 12th is OK for me; I might even have two bots running by then.
