Unlikely i'll have a beetle going, but would defo have an ant and a half built feather. We need a good day to talk about future directions and sum up serial space in person anyways. Happy with yours or Jeffs if we do beetles. Also does anyone want to adopt the beetle arena? Laughing

I gave up on building a beetle arena after I realised how hard it would be to store! having an event at Jeff's place allows for featherweight testing, is that useful?

As a not permenant solution, I offer to store the beetle arena as I definitely don't want it to rust at Angus's with the sea air.

But we should talk further about things on the 25th. I'll call Jeff and see where he is at.

i'd store the arena too but, i live a million miles away and it'd be outdoors, so probably not the best plan

It's pretty safe where it is at the moment, Poly is lying flat under my bed and steel is tucked away in my workshop, which is fairly dry. I'm happy with it like that but yeah, we'll eventually want a more permanent solution considering I can't take it anywhere without serious assistance. Laughing

We need to tie this up: We can either:
A. Have it at Jeffs, do ants as well as beetles. Also give the joint a bit of a clean out...

B. Have it at Glens again (he's more than happy) but this means ants only.

Smile Gimme your preferences!

While I probably won't quite have a beetle running, it would be good to visit Jeff's place again.

Ok, Jeffs it is: Very Happy Ants and beetles!

Here's what I'm thinking.

We really should ask Jeff how he feels about the whole thing, the place is rented so need to know if he has any plans (unlikely but still).

There's actually a lot of resources there we can tidy up and determine how best the club can use them.

About time for an official 'club meeting'? Laughing I'll bring the donations from serial space + dockets for arena and event if Bort is still happy being treasurer, more than happy to take over.

Anyone new on the forum who is interested in attending this event but needs the address please PM me. It is a private residence so not open to general public.

Very Happy Anything else?
