How To Get There
The Hackerspace is at the corners of Light and Hynes st's in Fortitude Valley

The best ways to get there are:

Train: Get off at Fortitude Valley Station, Walk out the main entrance (straight up the stairs from the platform and walk straight out from the station. You should end up on Brunswick St. Turn left and walk towards the mall, turn left again walk down Wickham St. Keep walking down the street for about 800m. Turn left into Brooke St beside the Police station and then right into Light Street next to the IGA supermarket. Walk about 150m and the Hackerspace is on your right at the top of the hill. Look for the big roller door with a HSBNE sign above it.

Bus: Catch a City Glider from anywhere around the city heading out to Tenerrife. Press the bell when you see the Police station on the left hand side of the bus. Get off at the next stop, it should be Light St stop, and keep walking down past the lights till you see 99 Bikes.Turn left and walk up the hill and then turn left at the next street and the Hackerspace is on your left.

Also Daniel want to make a bot registration page?

Is everything confirmed for this event? Is there any parking near to the location?

I am going to swing past tonight to try and iron out a few things the sarv.

Things to confirm
- suitability of space. (sounds/looks pretty good from my online investigations)
- parking
- Bump in/out times.

Other things to organise
- Clean the panels (Might happen this weekend or thursday next week)
- Acquire Bolts - ordered
- Organise trailer
- Food - Did we want to organise a BBQ or something?
- Robot registrations

So parking shouldn't be a big issue. Its all metered on the streets around the location but not on the weekend. There is a fair bit one street over and a bit in the street it's in.

In out times are negotiable. I am thinking in at 9 started by 10? Could look at setting up the night before if anyone is free can't do it by myself.

Food - There is like pizza capers, subway, ect down the road so that might be an easier option.

Will need to bring some power leads and tables.

Also can every one post the Names and Weights of the bots you will be bringing.

Steve

My bots have been added to the list. I might also have a beetle and another feather though 5 robots by myself might be going a bit far....

I have Aggressor Jr ready.
Mat (Jack the Flipper) may not be coming. Will find out Friday.
I have a few more people from work who want to come too. Caleb has most of an antweight finished (name: Ham and Cheese) and Luke will wants to see what it is all about. I also have Lorena whose son is very interested and they want to to start building.
Any problems with them coming?
