QRSC - Ant Event - 7th May

So I need to confirm a few people who will be able to bring a robot or two to drive around on the 7th. This may also be accompanied by an Ant event for ourselves but the idea was for us to drive around some robots and try and direct some people into the edge.

The way I am thinking it would work would we would come round @ like 10 setup the antweight arena. Then we take the Feathers out to where ever they want us to drive around promoting the edge. Drive round for 30min to an hour and tell anyone who is interested that we will be actually fighting the little ones inside soon.

Afterwards if anyone is hanging round the feathers should be charged so we can go back outside and have a bit of a drive around for a while.

Not sure exactly what the setup will be as I really don't want anyone to end up with a broken ankle but I if you have some flashy robots to bring along it would be good.

If anyone can commit ASAP that will be good as I can let them know what we can do.

Cheers

Steve

Haven't heard anything more from the Edge regarding this. If we don't end up doing anything would everyone be happy to just do an Ant meet possibly with some mucking around with feather in preparating for feahters on the 21st?

I am easy as far as the date is concerned. Stig is ready to go now. I would prefer sooner than later.

My next lot of Hobby King parts is waiting for 3 product lines on back order. So any additions to my fleet won't be coming any time soon.

No dice on demo, too much of a pain to run the large robots around anywhere.

So will just run Ant event. I would also like to clean up feather arena panels as well.

8 Days get building.

I don't know if we can set up at the library as they will have other stuff on there during the day. I can ask though .

How much space would we need?

Corner and a few tables? We could prolly bring a few tables.

Is there any benefit to using the library? We could have it at Daniel's if he is willing to have us.

well I was curious if the carparks have been opened under the library and museum again. But if its at my place I won't get to test pulling the arena apart.
My place if fine but I'm going to watch the game at the Gabba that night.

Daniels would probably be easier. I am looking at Ustream account we should be able to stream all the fights if people are interested in watching.
