You guys watch too much TV. Seriously! Laughing

I sounds like just maybe several builders will have more than one beetleweight, which is a great thing - how will we handle scheduling the matches in a round-robin comp?

"Er I guess..."

I have a dream that all robots will be treated equally. I demand robo-equality!

But seriously, just normal draw. If your bots get drawn tough boobs. Never been a fan of offering bias based on some external perceived problem. Give the controls to someone else, forfeit one whatever...

the draw system tries to avoid team vs team matches, it will only schedule one of those if the alternative is repeating a prior fight.

Sounds good, let's hope that one team doesn't end up facing itself in the final match. It sounds like we have enough bots to stage an exciting rumble at the end as well Smile

Yeah I get it, just never been a fan of the rationale behind it. Willing to make concession when builders have travelled a long way etc. But its not needed in our events. Like I said robo-equality. No free rides.

Massive just needs a recharge, but I will try a few armour upgrades next weekend.

We should really make sure to take as much video as possible for a demo show. I have been playing about with my GoPro camera and the results look pretty good, the sound will be great inside the arena too.

I'm not expecting this to arrive any time soon, but how about 3D bot videos? Shocked

haha nice

I'll bring my D90 as usual for some HD action with cinematic lens characteristics Razz

Anyone got a decent sound recording setup they could bring? Even just a decent mic connected to a laptop ought to crap all over camera built-ins
