Hi guys
Battery question now.....we got a couple of rhino 750 batteries to connect up to our hobby king transmitter to replace is 8xaa batteries....Im just looking at the wires its got a red (2pin) and a (white 4pin plug) is the 4pin plug for charging and the 2pin for connecting to stuff like motors ...or transmitters?
So all I would need is to buy a 2pin red male jst to connect it up to the transmitter?

Hi Guys
Whats the hobby king link for the 7 pin jst connector that everyone used for balancing their batteries? I've tried searching jst 7pin ....but no luck for me.

What voltage and brand of batteries are you using? _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Hi Guys
HI Philip, we used those 3pin jst that your recommended for the transmitter mod ...they worked perfect, plugged right into the socket on the pcb! Didn't have to cut any wires from the transmitter..!
At the moment we have 4cell 13-14 volt a123's. Will go up to 6cells for our next ones.
yeah will get em from hk and hopefully they fit. Steve where do you get your 7pin balance plugs from? _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts

HK its just bloody hard to tell if you have the right one. Because sometime pictures aren't correct and I am never sure whether Male means it has pins or whether it goes into a socket.....
And then the connection type is often ambiguous. I just bought like 4 different sets so I was sure I at least got some of what I wanted. lol _________________ Steven Martin

Just think of it in relation to human genitalia during reproduction - the male is the 'pin' and it plugs into the female 'socket' _________________ Jamie

Hi guys
What do you think about this dual speed controller? Is it a proper one with control over both channels? Only $50

As a general rule, hobby type speedos do not survive robot combat. They are not designed for the constant direction changes. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

I'm not sure the crawler esc's work like you would want, I can't see how motors fighting against eachother would be any use in a crawler rc. I like their rating, at that size, divide it by 10 maybe.
I know it's heaps hard... but esc's are simply parts you cannot afford to skimp out on if you want to compete/ have fun and ultimately, last you forever (unless you plug it in backwards but can still be repaired). I remember buying my first IBC during highschool 2nd hand for $150, I managed it somehow... Still got that ibc and it's still alive. _________________ ( •_•)

Hi Guys... yeah it would be good if they were robot style....I know ...you get what you pay for....but sometimes you find a product that is cheap and ok....look at the hobby king receivers! The blue speedos work!.... if only they were dual channel for better control.
Wouldn't it be cool to be able to not have to rob from one robot to make the next one work.

The big problem with that controller is that it has only one channel, so the motors will always be going the same speed and you will not be able to turn! Its designed for a Crawler that has separate front & back transmissions and regular car steering.
Some builders in the US have tried using two single channel R/C controllers with a v-tail mixer for steering - they generally seem to like them in the 12 Lb class.
