Would anyone be interested in the acme screws, nuts & handles off the SX3 mill? They are mint condition but pretty useless to me now.

Other stuff that is free or super cheap:

Large & small road cases

fan motors,

big, high voltage servo motors

Large wheels

possibly some tools and mill accessories

Switching power supplies

I have one large colson from when we thought spinner lightweights were going to happen. Embarassed Was there another or 2 Nick? I have plans for a sportsman which may need such humongous wheels. Smile Damn, we got all those sprockets too.... Rolling Eyes

I already told work to get stuffed so I will definitely be there! I still have a few new bits to make but if that doesn't work out, the old bits are still good to go!

If we don't get a huge turn-out, we should have a bit of a planning session about the scrapheap challenge. Also, have a look at the current Sparkfun news page and tell me that wouldn't be fun!

ill defo be there

just gave the robot a test drive after adding some bits to the wedge and some mods to be done in grinding front lip down a tad to stop it pulling slightly left as i accelerate forward and cutting off some stuff to make it drive inverted better and the usual, paint, foam padding, heatshrink second battery etc etc etc

but defo be there on the day with the robot ready to go the second i walk in basically, batteries charged and everything

This whole being ready ahead of the morning of the event thing feels awesome i must say Very Happy
