Vic season 2010

well I figured every other state has gotten themselves organized so it's about time we did.
should we plan the event dates for the year now to make things easier or will we have events whenever people feel like it like last year?
perhaps we should have a build meet like last year to kick things off and get things sorted

edit: any vics interested in beetleweights?

I'm not likely sorry. I.G. needs new gearboxes and I dont have the $$ to buy the BaneBots ones I want yet.

I finally wore/chewed out my AndrewMods and couldnt be bothered doodling about with Drill boxes anymore - the hose clamp mounts have let me down a few times Wink

So it will be a month or so before I.G. is ready for any battles. But with the Arena setup permanently now, an event can be held any time you get enough bots together to make it worth your time.. Just make sure you let Sidetracked know a week or two beforehand.

I humbly appeal to you mexicans to get your beetleweight on Smile

then we can have epic interstate beetle showdown

think of the tiny tiny mayhem!

Note: Theyre really cheap to build. I built all of Carbine for about what it costs for one Victor

ok then let me re-phrase that:
who wants to be my chew toy for hurricane to munch on?
seeing as it doesn't look like many people are able to attend an event does anyone feel like a test match or two with hurricane?
I want to make sure I've fixed the previous problems and it's not like I can test that at home :3

Keep in mind that a lot of the Vic Guys dont read the forum that regularly, and if you want to drum up some interest for an event you will probably need to do some emailing or calling and not just wait for forum replies.

Matt, Neweyn, George, Gary, Tim Forde, Daniel, Rick, Jason, Russel are all only occasionaly forum visitors, so thats about 2/3 of the Vic vets there -

Maybe we should get an SMS phone contact list going or something ?

As I mentioned in my Intro thread Im up for meeting up with everyone. Would love to see these things in person to get a good idea on size/power etc etc.

I dont have any contact details or Info for any of these guys until I meet them though, So im out for trying to group them up and organise them.
Hopefully we can get something going Smile
