Mine is finished also!

The following is a highlights video - basically i cut out all the boring bits (of which there were many) and still included all the meat. Apologies if any of you feel as though you were short changed by my editing - its possible that i didnt capture everything on film in the first place.

Enjoy!

Here's a direct link to a slightly extended (12 minutes, 180MB) as opposed to the 10mins on youtube if you would like a direct download

Video

VLC ftmfw

sorry the codecs i had under windows 7 were a bit limited - i used to have an epic collection under XP but they dissapeared in the upgrade.

Unfortunately it got a bit glitchy too, especially on the transitions.

now uploading slightly shortened youtube version, link to follow

Hi guys,

It turns out that most of the waterjetting I just had done is useless, partly their fault, partly my poor drawings. I just had to cancel Robogames and I'm so pissed off and depressed that I decided to take a complete break from Robots for 3 to 6 months Crying or Very sad

I won't be coming to the events for a while and you should probably elect a new club president too. I will be looking in on the forum from time to time, but the bots are all on hold for now - I can't even walk into the workshop just now!

Cheers, Nick

Shit >_<
Robots should be fun, it is a hobby after all. If it is anything but enjoyable, there's pretty much 0 reason to do it. I had a mini version of your anger at robowars, with my 'reliable' brick bot failing in every concievable way. I'm enjoying the small ones, and won't be doing large ones anytime soon till I get motivated in them again. There's no reason you can't keep using massive, and just leave the featherweight stuff till you want to touch it again. Can imagine how let down you must feel though Crying or Very sad

hey man that really sucks.
If a "maximum effort" by all the builders would get you ready in time I know we are up for it.
