the game was andrews wedge bot it went well until bender smashed the entire front into one of the wheels. hurricane was shreddys little fbs which was surprisingly awesome and a few others i dont remember.

mine went pretty crap haha at least the first fight was good. shame it annihilated both the robots and put them both out of the comp XD

hey all,

finally home, so mentally raped after that drive.

Rapture is on back burner, can fix it for local event if nothing else is done (by fix i mean finish arse end then watch as it gets owned) but yeah im pretty over making spinners now, they annoy me.

But yeah my lil wedge turned out surprisingly well, cant complain with second place, will rebuild it more awesome instead of rush build using cheap steel etc etc

was good bouncing robots off the wall and making BAN do a 360 off one wall, that was win

anyways im doing nothing robot related for rest of the week so i can organise other matters

All those whos robots r in my car lemme know what u wanna do bout picking it up etc

Um Crap, after waiting for the file to upload, the minute it was up I get an email telling me that I cant use the audio so it was taken out.
Kinda stumped me a bit.

Anyway thats whats happened, have to decide what to do, it was edited based on the video so I cant just turn the original audio back up as the announcers voice will be cut here and there so need to decide what to do next.

spewing, need a coffe right know

This is a link to 1 video, with a heap of related ones telling you how to get your original audio back under "fair use" terms and so on

think im semi coherent now, thanks to all and sundry for organising the weekend. definitely one of the smoothest run events in recent history. the system worked really well and everyone being lined up before the next batch of fights definitely kept everything going Cool

always gives hope when theres so many new builders competing and at such a high standard. all the new builders had some very quality machines. the enforcer had some first robot problems as all do but otherwise it was so impressively made and there was alot of thought in the design of it. you did yourselves proud guys Very Happy

Lukes shell spinner was definitely the shocker of the weekend. i didnt think it would work at all but how shocked most of us were that his first robot and a shell spinner at that went so impressively. after the teething troubles are sorted and it can self right it will put the hurt on a few robots Cool

spent most of the weekend hovering around georges table glaring at locust. the tracks are so simple and totally effective once your looking at the complete product but who else could have thought of something like that Shocked totally awesome machine.

Also a big thanks to Neweyn, Tanjya, Matt, Andrew, Brett and the rest for ferrying us about when they could! mucho appreciated Very Happy

For future reference the monash apartments are AWESOME. bunnings and bottleshop on one corner, red rooster (i think i got salmonella from there hahah. but damn those were some good cheesy nuggets) on the other, and a BP/IGA on the other one. truly a roboteering piece of heaven lmao. Havent gotten an angry call from the hotel company yet so i think we're in the clear haha.
