RE;27th September and 25th October are probably too close to the 10/11th October Sydney event.
Good point
I'll cancel the Sep 27th to Sept the 6th and cancel the aug event giving us a good 5 weeks to prep for the Sydney event.
so its gonna look like this
Jul 26th
Sept 6th
Oct 25th
Nov 29th
Depending on how many go to Sydney, and what state they return, we will see if we need to push out the Oct date.

Just a note, the 6th September is Fathers Day. I don't know if that poses any problems for anyone.

Just wondering what the level of interest in Battelshed is. Question

Were road tripping it again, Rob and Matt coming with me as long as they can get of work and George was keen to get a suitable bot ready and accompany us.

Reason for posting in this thread is to just judge interest and if some others are keen, driving or flying it might be worth starting a thread rather than cluttering the Bloodshed thread.

yea kirstens bots was zebra.

I probably cant make battleshed due to it being in the middle of my uni exams same for kirsten but wont know more until exam timetable comes out Sad

The monthy or so events sound good.

edit:
as mentionedi n the build thread both foward/backwards and left/right whre reveresed on zebra which is why it did not drive well.

Also kirsten i think mentioned something about borrowing a left hand screw from Gary. Just remind one of us next event to return it thanks.

Keep it, I have plenty of spares.

Thanks to Daniel for putting on the day.

The control mixed up on zebra does clear up that mystery, watching vid I can see it now.

Another situation was the 2 FM radios interfering.

Banes dual conversion probably gave me the edge over Daniels.

Bane could move with difficulty also Danny started pointing his antenna/ Ariel at his bot.
I kept mine at 90 degree.

IF was checked carefully, Robowars Nationals checked as part of entry.

Daniels back yard we were a bit slack and probably use to everything on spectrum. Embarassed

Bane finished up on FM for IF as we were running so many bots and was still set up that way.

Hey all,
we are good to go for this week end.
I have two rc cars with scoops on them for a scoccer match on the day if anyone know of someone wanting to bring an rc car (not a Kmart car with a 27mhz/40mhz std radio) and have a bit of fun.
Ill have the bbq on for lunch.
see you all here.

I'll be there with Puncturer running on 26 cells using a picaxe controller. I'll bring DAC (in bits) and get some opinions on the redesign of it.

@Rob would you be able to bring the video footage from the last event that you took on your camera. I'll bring my laptop and an SD card reader to copy it on. I want to see how I bent the drum shaft on DAC.
