No show for Pyro, pulled him to bits to fix a few dents from IF and decided to make a few changes so that’s not going to happen before tomorrow.

Just checked over Bane 2 after IF so might give him a run, have decided to make him a new cowl, keeping the old one as a souvenir as it has such interesting blemishes. Smile

Matt can’t make it but we should be there on time, detour was last weekend.

Got the scales loaded.

I'll be there, prob without the brother. Due to major procastination, the only bot worth bringing is the old wedge. BUT it does has a shiny new metal lid and an interesting attempt of welding on my part.

All set everyone.
The arena is erected, and indeed I am happy with my erection, I have been working on it all day. it is still a little warm from the welding and sticky from the paint, though a grand warm sticky erection it is.
So who is coming?
Tomorow I mean, I think we have around ten including myself.
should be a good day.

I heard something about fights down there last weekend if there's no posting I guess nothing happened. I was waiting for this (and the first NSW event) results before putting up the tables.

Ok, I have looked at all the weekends, and consistantly the last sunday of every month looks to be a good day, so I have listed all the days I will be holding events.
Jul 26th
Aug 30th
Sept 27th
Oct 25th
Nov 29th
They are all on the last Sunday of every month, pending weather on the day.
I rekon the day went great. if there is anything needing to be changed let me know, and we can work it in to the next event.

Thanks for the event Danny, it was a good day. Didn't know my drum bot could have such a cool gyro dance.

@Glen that drum bot was mine (most of it, the drum was made by someone else). It needs major work, it is too heavy (300gm left to play with and no drum protection or top) and I bent the weapon shaft (16mm hollow steel).

Most likely going to remake it with drill motors for drive and keep the friction driven drum for the weapon but with a thicker & stronger shaft and welded teeth rather than bits of 8mm steel.

@Daniel the dates look good, except the 27th September and 25th October are probably too close to the 10/11th October Sydney event.

@Neweyn & Rob the name I'm giving the robot is DAC.
