Maybe try running a bunch of 12V DC lights to avoid the flickering.

I don't think adding more fluros would really help that much cus they would still be flickering in sync with the mains. I am not sure though.

I think some form of resistive lighting like the yellow halogen lights or normal globes would work better.

good point, i added the timecode but it must be keyed to the realtime speed Razz

its slowed to 20% iirc, so 0.8 seconds? thats still pretty good air time ;P

yeah fluros flicker at 2x mains as i recall (100 hz)
unless you can wire them to a different phase its not going to help much.

We already have 2x 500W halogens in the arena now.

Lets just move in more incandescent lights - we have spares and I have several that were never unpacked from last year.

yep incandescent and lots of them. Generally increasing the light level in there will yeild better still photos and videos low and high speed.

I suggest PAR38's if we need to buy anything more as they're pretty cheap and reliable (unlike floodlights)

Robs got the rumble; there are a couple of frames on page 7 of this thread.
He is visiting in Melbourne at the moment, soon as he gets back I shall suggest he put the rumble up.
