Thanks again Glen for letting me drive Cobra.
For my first even i found it really easy, everyone helped out and were easy to talk to Very Happy

Hope to get Rambo-T (definately need a name change) ready for future events, and ill see everyone then.

Um, Ah.. Oh.. Smile The mighty NSW contingent slink back home with a pile of twitching brushless motors and bent titanium behind them.. Wink

Ah, I'm too much of a softy. I couldnt let the grand final finish in 20 seconds with a boring pin on the wall.. But given thats *twice* now that Bender has bent IG badly, so there will be NO MERCY Next Time we meet.. Smile

Pity there werent enough working bots at the end to make the wacky race worth running.. Sad

Thanks to everyone for coming, Aaron for I.G.'s new indestructible Iron-Ass Wink. All the usual crew thanks.. Judges Announcers Schedulers, Sidetracked and Darren the workshop guy.. etc for working the whole weekend, and everyone for helping make a smoothly run, on time event. I didnt even have to growl at anyone.. Smile well done guys.

I was going to waffle on with an event report, but seeing as how Rob has nearly all the videos up already, I wont bother.. they tell the story better than I could.
http://au.youtube.com/user/RobbieStott - hopefully the final will appear there soon. Smile

yeah he punched some unguarded titanium on his robot and slashed his hand open. all good now i think.

trying to pack two much into too little i think was our downfall this year. reliability will be the factor for brisbane Smile

Alright, home at last (sorta...)

Big thanks to Sidetracked and Brett for organising another great event!
Thanks to Brett & Mel for the accommodation & transport.
Thanks to Neweyn/Tim for taxi trips back and forth during the weekend.
Thanks to all the judges who gave up there weekend!
Thanks to all who fought MBX and actually gave me a chance to get it spinning, and show the crowd this crazy design of robot...

Does anyone have the full video of MBX VS IG? I noticed Robs video isn't the full battle and misses a few of the big hits Crying or Very sad

Thanks everyone for a great event.
Shame there wasn't enough robots running for the wacky races Sad

That second chance draw was a good idea, shame I was having issues with my drive belts Sad
