The poll and a fair few posts indicated the majority were in favour of the 26th - everyone always wants more build time it seems. I will update the title and we will work towards an event in two weeks.

Dylon aparently can't do 26th. We seriously need to stop trying to shuffle dates it always stuffs everything up... Confused

26th aint good for me got other commitments on that day, the 19th is best for me as its the school holidays and i would really like to test out this beater before battleshed

well courtney misses out on the 19th or dylon misses out on the 26th. shit happens either way. what does the MAJORITY favour?

From a totaly non-bias view,
Bort already has a working robot,
Dylon might not get his done in time, and it most certainly will have issues if rushed.
There for, we really should bend for Bort this time. Sorry Dylon.

I was good for either date at first, but I have been working on other projects and would really prefer the 26th now.

This particular event was a shuffled date from the outset as a result of previous ones being bumped a week.

Unfortunately I had no idea when I would be working over World Youth Day, otherwise would have brought it up earlier. I feel bad for Dylon.

I know all of us have had to miss events at varoius stages. I definitely have missed a lot due to work and such.

In other news just thought you all should know that the pope is safe. So everyone can sleep well now Smile

Very Happy Well due to low enthusiasm etc i am better with the 26th also.thinking about building a robot to whatever weight it ends up Wink

i was thinking any chance we could have this event on the sunday, so the 27th would give some extra prep time.
its just a thought,
i really dont want to miss this round as its the last until battleshed and prime to test out my new robot

Very Happy Well i dont know ,we are in we are out and so on so on... folks, someone please have the thoughtfulness to submit on what ever day so we can proceed,
I know ive asked for date changes in the past ,but as soon as it affects another compeditor I "submit" and accept i cant make it.
I know we all have different reasons for making or not it etc but this has got out of hand. im voting for the 27th at this stage,if i have to work ill definately send my blessing to those who will be battling
