LOL, I just fried a BEC and maybe a receiver as well - not sure if SC will be running tomorrow... I can bring two IMX mixers along if that helps.

UPDATE:

Everything works now, but I will probably be a bit late - start without me if I don't make round 1

okay, shuriken (my new robot) is looking promising, finished tacking the shell together and just gave it a spin, isnt the most balanced thing ever but spins just the same so will see how it goes

Just taking my time now welding the shell up properly trying not to rush it for fear of warpage.

Once thats done im getting some sleep, will need to do a few things tomorrow like weld teeth on probably Razz

anyways nick please dont forget them shaft clamps, sorry i couldnt get it during the week

ANgus-dont forget that spare motor, i noticed after my short testing the motor will get very hot if the match lasts a full 3 mins

Glen-bring your servo trigger dealy just in case the battleswitch screws up (hope not as its been awesome so far

Thanks all, will get back to welding (got 6 more panels to weld up times three seams a panel and thats..... oh crap

cya all tomorrow

Nuts indeed, today had a real good turn out and many quality bots!
Two token spinners were rapture and the new death spinner on the block, scissorhands. Shocked
The sound it makes is intense, much more terrifying than Jolt, and it hits HARD.

Some videos to be updated:

Excellent event! Very Happy Scissorhands went even better than expected on it's first outing and some fierce competition revealed a few problems that can easily be fixed. Well done Glen for the win and also to Dylon, who came oh so close to taking out the event.

I will have around 10 hi-res videos and plenty of photos posted later today.
