Marayong Season 5 round 2 29/03

Heh, it's not actualy that early, only a month... Shocked
One thing I hope we could possibly fix... come on guys, no more damn overweight robots!!? Few hundrew grams over is a bit much, but bloody dylon and your huge robot get em fixed! Laughing
If not, compete in the Lightweight comp, which this is the first round of.
So whats people looking at? Any new lightweights? Hopefully i'll have one of some kind, don't expect anything amazing. Wink

My lightweight is still a POP and CAD design; no way for it to be ready. Scissorhands is almost done - if I don't get it finished, I promise I will put it in the arena for target practice! Shocked

Hi gang!-Well ive been really busy on Pacific, havnt had much time to
do much, but regardless, Ive made sure I have that weekend free!
So Ill be there, Angus can tag along with me-Still working on the feather
design, (Im taking my time with this bot) so itll just be Chip Hazard
for the LW heat(provided I can get him sorted out!) failing that, Ill
just chill out, watch the carnage and catch up with you all!-see you there-Jas.

wow, only 21 days left, best pull my finger out.

Making steady progress on new FBS, got base plate done, shaft mountes, drives in and weopon pulley mocked up and drilled out, will hopefully have rest of guts done before end of this week then i can start on the shell. If it works itll be aweosme if not ill quickly make up a SOW style rotor or something and run with it

either way hopefully will be done in time, no lightweight though for now

Less than 2 weeks to go, how are we all shaping up?

I saw Andrew's new FBS frame and it is easily his best built bot to date. If the shell works out it will be a real contender!

Scissorhands is almost ready with just the new wheels and minor fitting to do before a full test.

let's see a full turn-out, even if your bot still needs a little work.

Rapture is still ruptured but a good look over the electronics and addition of a belt tensioner + solid motor mount should see it ready to dish out some leathal hits a little more often. Rolling Eyes

Yeah the FBS is slowly coming together, its been the most pleasant build so far in my opinion and its turning out real nice for my work Razz

Just need to mount the electronics/wiring, get the thing driving and get materials to make the shell on saturday and start that.

As long as the battleswitch arrives before next saturday itll get done hopefully.
