We need to set the next date.
Since we have had one call for after Battleshed I am going to say the weekend after, 20 September. Is this ok for everyone? _________________ Get Some!!!

Will there be sufficient robots for an event on the 20th after Battleshed? _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

I believe that there was only 2 bots that were damaged out of the comp and both of those were speed controllers _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Sweet. Let us know when you've moved and we'll organise some binge drinking
or robots, either is good _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
If all goes well should be there and have a robot. Needs to be rewired, charged and have a motor replaced but it is all there and should be good to go.
Ok have got it reassembled but am having a few radio problems. hopefully i haven't killed my spectrum. Won't have time to look at it 2nite but can hopefully figure it out 2moro morn.
Steve
Hmm might have something to do with me disassembling it last time. _________________ Steven Martin

I just put Marauder back together and drove it 10" forward and back. That is enough testing. Bring on the fights. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

It was a fun day as always. Robot chatting with a few fights thrown in makes for a good few hours. There are always new designs and improvements to discuss.
Andrews robot is much harder to get under with the front armour. Hellcat over turned Marauder. That fight wasn't videoed. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Yeah there is nothing wrong with Hellcat. Just a couple of quick welds and a little hammering and he is good to go for next time. After a bit of discussion between me and Daniel the Sabertooth might be pulled out but it is up to Daniel what happens to it.
Still need to work out the next date with regard to uni timetables.
Hopefully the next event will also involve construction of a new arena.
I will also send an email off to Dave to confirm the RFL membership. _________________ Get Some!!!
