Marauder has had a test run and is good to go.

We will have to have timed fights this time so that we can have some results.

Hi,

My name's Aidan, myself and some friends are interested in building a bot and joining at some point. Probably won't be able to make it to the event on Sunday, but if the webcam's up and running, I would be keen to check it out.

Well the event is actually on saturday.
We'll set the webcam up again. Not sure how well it worked but Trent seemed to enjoy it.

Where can I watch from? I might have some spare time to watch a few fights.

Thanks Daniel, Sunday was a typo.

Anyway, keen to see some videos of Saturday's matches if anyone takes any. Otherwise, I might come along to the next one if it's ok.

I should be able to bring a few softdrinks from work. They are out of date, but taste fine. Is your downstairs fridge working?

The web cam will be setup through MSN chat. I just created a new account: QLD_Robotic_Sports_Club@hotmail.com

The fridge is only useful to test the circuit breakers or as a boat anchor.

And of course it is ok for new guys to come for a look. Just remember that our "arena" is not bullet proof and that you do so at your own risk.

I have 8 liters of softdrink and a few packets of chips. I wonder if the junk food will out number the bots.

Please charge the battery on your video camera.

So how many are coming? Marto and Aaron are out. Daniels too lazy to have a robot. Trent is a no but I remember he mentioned coming along. That just leaves me and Philip? Doesn't sound too promising.

To see the webcam get MSN messenger (or Yahoo messenger will work too I think.) and add the contact QLD_Robotic_Sports_Club@hotmail.com as a contact. If you try chatting after 10am you can access the webcam. It is a crude setup but it will do for now.
