I'm still slowly building, and enjoying doing it that way. _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

I will post pics of our new arena tomorrow so people can get an idea of what to expect.
Any chance of getting those photos up, would be interested to see if I have to adjust my wedge to prevent some wall vs wedge scenarios

Marauder is still at the welders. That is from last year.
Find a new welder Might be worth just bolting it all together, that way you can at least compete for once, plus there are no spinners _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I rang Mark today. He has finished the welding and had been ringing me on my old mobile number. I will pick up the frame tomorrow. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

No, not this weekend. We are both playing in national brass band championships this weekend, like we do every easter, so we are busy.
I'll take a photo of the arena. Both of them if people want ant/beetle weights as well. My brother is too lazy to take photos.

10am should be a good time to start.
Here's some photo's of the arenas.
The feather arena. Currently a RFL class C arena.
The beetle arena. If we throw something on top of it it will be a RFL class A arena.

Fury won't be going tomorrow. I buggered up and forgot to check if my batteries fit into my brothers Li-Pol balancers. Turns out they now supply the batteries with smaller plugs so now I can't charge or balance the batteries, so I probably shouldn't use them. I went to Dick Smiths and Jaycar last night but they don't sell what I need. I have no other batteries that fit the robot.

Well today went well. Got to drive the old robots around again and see what doesn't work. the arena didn't work so well but plans have been made to change it. Also Hellcat popped which was interesting.
some pics:
I have some video too but that might wait a little bit.
Next event in 6 weeks so get ready. _________________ Get Some!!!

Thanks for organising the gathering today Kero's. Was fun to catch up and break robots again Highlight of the day for Schmackhed was wedging Hellcat and Marauder on top of each other and ramming them both down the other end of the arena. Schmackhed got some real traction with 20+ kg on top
Can't wait till 6 weeks time, looking at having a lifter on Schmackhed by then, something to make it self right anyway just in case Hellcat's flipper works _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

That crusher is so stupidly tiny, awesome!
Looks like a good day to me, I think lots of people have a bit of work to do for the next comp. _________________ ( •_•)

Sproing was kicking arse, and that little ring spinner with the 300 watt motor looks interesting.
Oh and...
Got safety? Whoever was standing in the arena in that video deserves the new Welch safety award

Twas I. I have heard that Andrew is quite safe now. We were running without high KE weapons on the day. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
