hiding an antenna

i was wondering if it is possible to hide an antenna in a weapon?
for exsample if i had a pick (or spike) for a weapon that came off the top of a robot (like avengers axe) and the antenna went inside the pick/spike and just poked out the top a little?

Maestro uses his mace handle for an Ariel: its plastic covered fiberglass.

I cut a grove, used a length of stainless welding wires and melted the plastic back over it.

Worked fine with a regular FM radio even with the IBC fail-safe which wont work with scratchy signal.

So yes but it needs to be insulated from the metal body of the bot.

I just coil up my antenna and shove it in with my receiver in the middle of my robot. I have never had radio issues.

Spectrum solves all the antenna problems

Those 3 1.5" short wires can even be glued on a motor.
