Thanx for the kind words.
When I think back at that moment there are 2 things that I remember that made that possible, the first is that I received a smack in the face, that’s always good to help make you focus oddly enough so I needed a reply to that hit.
The second thing is, not sure if its obvious but when I realised Arachnophobia was going to change direction I started to move in whilst opening the jaws.
You cant change direction without slowing down so that was the opportunity that was presented so I took it.
Think it’s a good example of anticipating your opponents move and aiming ahead of time expecting the other robot to be there. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

I still reckon Pinscher's Selfrighting move after flipping Ballistic over was a classis! _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Yeah, I thought Eleanor was cool too. I think I killed that with a dull name _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

I think some pictures would help because some of these robots don't have wiki articles.
But until I have the pics, I'll have to go with Reboot for
a) Cool name
b) Flying saucer-ish shape (very science-fictionish) _________________ It seemed like a good idea on paper...

Yes you have a good point there, at the first OZ Lightweight event PhailBot gave us a real reality check as to the potential of KE spinners in that class.
Yes it is just another Hazard clone but it surprised us, after the first self destruct demo it went on to do serious damage to Maestro.
So my vote to PhailBot. _________________ Satisfaction is proportional to effort and results.
