QLD Builders Meet

Thought it might be time to move from the robot display thread.

Would anyone be interested in another builders meet in a month or so?

Is there anything more to discuss or any new plans for an arena?

I am goin to be pretty busy with uni next few weeks but just thought I'd see if anyone else is interested. We are pretty quiet around QLD these days.

For a simple non-spinner/big flipper arena we need 3 or 4 bits of wood that are at least 2.4m long. 3m would be better as the biggest gap we need to fill is 2.8m. I'm not sure I can afford it as my girlfriend is spending all my money, but we might go up to Bunnings on the weekend and have a look anyway.

Between Work, Cars and Car Club, I've been flat out, but I really would love to catch up with everyone and have a bit of a Bot Bash...

Karen and I have some pine sleepers that could be used for bumpers. They are 2.4 m long. How many would you like?

What date do you have in mind?

How would you guys feel about the 26th of October? Exams are two weeks after that so the next possible time would prolly be around 16th well thats whats good for me anyway. Of course if it suits others better some other time then I can work in with that,

Steve

Marauder is ready to go. It will be interesting to see how it goes with pushing alone. We will have to have an arena event soon.
