good fun!!
I think Stealth will finally become a back wall decoration, and will be resurrected in a new and tougher form in the not too distant future.
There are some very good robots around now
It was awesome to see how hard a punch Jolt can dish out these days without a hint of self destruction. It's a bit scary really! _________________ The Engine Whisperer

Thanks Dumhead! After the big win, I can't really retire Jolt as planned; It will be making a return with some improvements like much thicker Ti armour and a faster spin up time. The current weapon bar belongs to Scissorhands, so I will make a new one with smaller teeth - this will reduce the hitting power a little but also reduce the flip-overs, so the competitiveness should stay the same. Its been a very exciting year and I'm looking forward to next year with even better bots from many teams. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

It had been a while since Jolt had flipped itself over from hitting something straight on. But it was quite destructive. Thanks for the pic too Nick
Also to add to your table, Caber forfeited heat 3 and for arguments sake skipped heat 4. Thus only entering the melee
But I was happy with how well it stood up to bender and even was giving weasel a good push when it got under it. Once the the problems with the flipper are ironed out I will be happy with it.

Hey All!-First of all congrats to Gary and Nick on their respective wins-well
done!
Some of the lightweights, mine included had problems-thats ok-all part
of the learning curve-Im doing my homework now on batteries and
the right speed controllers to get him running reliably-he certainly seems
tough enough and we know those scooter drives have done Aok in other
bots-so with some sorting out over the break, (and plenty of time to test
him out this time-Hell be Back!
We had a great day though, with Jeffs surprise bot being a true classic!
Andrew, have you tried turning youre actuator around and mounting
the other way with the motor end at the front and the clevis pushing
the flipper arm from a point towards its rear-if you have the push in it,
it may come up a little quicker!-good luck with it!
Im glad everyone liked Gramul, they are a fun demo bot thats for sure!-
I want to include this web spinning trick on board for next time-you may
have to look up to find him next time!-(Thanks to Nick for posting the Vid)
Jas.

Well after trying to figure out all the scores from the rounds I've put together the final list.
But there was a decision to then add up the bot placings to work the driver's championship. It doesn't really change much.
Nick 14
Lindsay 13
Angus 10
Dylon 7
Rob (Reboot) 7
Andrew 6
Chris 6
Glen 4
Matt (Bender) 3
Sorry if i mixed any names/bots up but its difficult to work out. Also while we are at it, the trophy situation.
Out there somewhere is a trophy that was meant to go to the winner each round, but at the least should go to the winner of the season. The last person we can remember is Jeff F having it. Jeff any ideas?

After reading thru a pile of old threads, I won in 2005 and Glen was the 2006 winner - I am pretty sure I recall handing the trophy over at some point...
Perhaps I need to use up some scrap Titanium making a new trophy? _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Hey I'm all for the new trophy, but the old one has a certain charm. And the fact that it has been around for a while makes it a bit of a tradition.
Glen any ideas?

I think the new trophy should be a dirty big brushless Etek motor hand over Glen!
Whether or not the original trophy is found, how about the winner adds something significant to it each year? A cool part you made, something ripped off an opponent etc. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
